Innovations, the North West’s major exhibition for the Fish & Chips and Fast Food Trade, returned on Sunday 14th April when V.A.Whitley hosted the widest range of Exhibitors so far. Held at the University of Bolton Stadium, the show was again a great success with a busy, constant flow of visitors throughout the day.

Innovations 2019 brought together a huge number of first-class exhibitors who presented outstanding product innovations and concepts covering a range of Food Products, Drinks, Packaging Developments, Hygiene Solutions and all of the latest Catering Equipment.

Innovations, the North West’s major exhibition for the Fish & Chips and Fast Food Trade, returned on Sunday 14th April when V.A.Whitley hosted the widest range of Exhibitors so far. Held at the University of Bolton Stadium, the show was again a great success with a busy, constant flow of visitors throughout the day.

Innovations 2019 brought together a huge number of first-class exhibitors who presented outstanding product innovations and concepts covering a range of Food Products, Drinks, Packaging Developments, Hygiene Solutions and all of the latest Catering Equipment.

The event saw all the latest packaging products to innovate and inspire. With the environment being at the forefront of all things packaging related. Innovations saw many new product launches which are now available from V.A.Whitley which include Bio-Fri-Forks, the NEW ‘Fold It, Bin It’ Corrugated Fish and Chip Box, the extended Birchwood cutlery range and the new Hook and Fish 4oz and 7oz board Containers.

Norebo (Glacialis) and Rammi (oCean Reserve and oCean Premium) both had a very successful show - presenting the best in Frozen-At-Sea fillet products - allowing fryers to learn all they needed to about their fish - including how to get the most from it with ‘The Cutting Crew’ master Nigel Hodgson, who was on hand with his culinary cutting skills.

There were three market leading Oil Filtration Companies on hand to show all their latest innovative methods of getting the most from your oil – including a debut for VITO UK.

Plenty of new Frozen Foods were launched at the event - which were all very received by Fish Friers and families alike. NEW products from Whitby Seafoods, Youngs, Innovate Foods and Holmesterne Foods proved to be massive hits with new lines which are being added to our already extensive frozen food range.

All the best in Fats, Oils and Beef Drippings were on offer including several new products such as Whitley’s 2x10 litre Rapeseed Oil, High Oleic Sunflower Oil and Prime Fry Beef Dripping being introduced.

If it was Digital Signage that customers desired, then BD Signs and CR Signs were on hand to offer expert advice and equipment to match.

Customers travelled from far and wide to take advantage of promotions on the day as well as plenty of sampling to get the taste buds tingling! From Shakes to Slushes, Pies to Packaging - Innovations had it all.
