Wood Street Chippy has been awarded the Best Loved Fish and Chip shop in Bury at the recent ‘Going Out Awards’.

There is always a friendly welcome from Gordon and Sarah who have catered for their community for many years.

Whilst their great food was commented on by hundreds of voters, equally so was the friendliness and warmth of the custom service provided by the staff.

One voter commented, “this has to be friendliest shop on planet earth”. “Always call when in the area, great quality and portion size”.  “Gordon and Sarah are amazing people”. “Food always delicious with friendly service - love that my dog gets a little free sausage when we visit”
