We took our very own Errol Finn on an adventure - starting with getting deliveries out of the door at our Heywood Depot, we then went over to Chester, who are the pioneers of the Sustainable Palm Oil City Project - where we met school children at Fish and Chips at Weston Grove. We also visited Sykes Fish and Chips in Manchester as well as Hill’s Traditional in Middleton. We also had 2 shops, Foz’s Fish Bar in Failsworth and Jit’s Plaice in Preston, win a great merchandise bundle to kit their shop and staff out ready for the day.
Fish and Chips was served up to none other than Zoe Ball and Liam Gallagher on BBC Radio 2 along with NFFF President Andrew Crook, while previous National Fish and Chip Shop of the Year Kingfisher Fish and Chips served up a treat on The One Show - with Patrick Kielty and Harry Hill - Giving Fish and Chips and National Fish and Chip day the sort of coverage it deserves!
